Chris provides outpatient chemical use assessments and group counseling through Alliance Wellness Center in Bloomington and has had prior experience at Relate Counseling Center, providing drug and alcohol counseling at both Mound Westonka High School and Edina High School. Chris has also provided Alcohol and Drug Diversion education programming through both Relate and River Ridge Treatment Center. Chris approaches counseling from a strengths-based, humanistic and relational cultural perspective and has had experience working with programs that utilize motivational interviewing, trauma informed care and harm reduction approaches. Prior to become a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in 2013 Chris spent several years working with youth experiencing homelessness in the Twin Cities. Chris has been featured in the both the Star Tribune and on NPR.
